Turkey does not allow American aircraft carrier to enter the Black Sea
The Turkish authorities do not allow the American aircraft carrier George HW Bush to enter the Bosphorus Strait, justifying its ban with Turkey’s international obligations. Warships of this purpose cannot enter the Bosporus to enter the Black Sea if they do not have their own bases off the coast of the Black Sea. At the same time, the United States, unlike the Russian Federation, does not have such bases. Thus, the US Navy aircraft carrier “stuck” in the Aegean Sea cannot pose any danger to the inhabitants of Crimea.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Crimea.
At the entrance to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea there are checkpoints, the soldiers of the special forces “Berkut” control that weapons and ammunition are not brought here. The primary task is to prevent the manifestation of extremism and protect the civilian population.
