During the riots in Dnepropetrovsk, one of the largest cities in Ukraine, located in the center of the country, three policemen were injured. The protesters tried to seize the building of the regional administration. A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the unlawful actions of the demonstrators.

Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Yevgeny Udod withdrew his earlier written resignation letter “because it was written under physical and moral pressure, which lasted more than three hours during the meeting of the Presidium of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council on February 24”, “in order to avoid the risk of destruction of the building in which there is an apparatus of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council, beating people, and on the condition that no one gets hurt, I wrote a letter of resignation, ”the press service quotes him.

In Cherkassk (Dnepropetrovsk region), Ukrainian reservists, mobilized by the new Kiev regime under the threat of criminal prosecution into the 93rd separate motorized brigade to participate in the suppression of protests by residents of the South-East of the country, staged a riot. They expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of detention in the tent camp, as well as the fact that their families were left without a livelihood. Many of the reservists after the "mobilization" were fired from their jobs, and the state does not provide any assistance to their wives and children. Initially, the collection period was supposed to be 10 days, but people have been kept in the camp for more than a month. In addition, many of them are not satisfied with the prospect of fighting with their own people.

THE RIGHT SECTOR MOVED TO DNEPROPETROVSK

The extremist organization "Right Sector"  moved its headquarters  from Kiev to Dnepropetrovsk. This was stated today by the group's leader and presidential candidate Dmitry Yarosh, who was put on the international wanted list by Russian law enforcement agencies.

In Dnepropetrovsk last night, unknown  people set fire to the  reception room  of the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleg Tsarev, located in a nine-story residential building on Marshal Malinovsky Street. The fire destroyed the building within minutes.

In Dnepropetrovsk at night, unknown  people burned  the house  of the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev. “Armed men arrived on two buses at two in the morning and threw Molotov cocktails at the house,” Tsarev said. Nobody was hurt in the fire.

IN THE DNIPROPETROVSK REGION, JOURNALISTS OF THE ZVEZDA TV CHANNEL WERE DETAINED.

Before being detained, correspondent Davydov and sound engineer Konashenkov were heading to the airport in Dnepropetrovsk to take a direct Aeroflot flight to Moscow at 17:05 local time (18:05 Moscow time). The journalists entered the territory of Ukraine officially, presenting their journalistic IDs, their business trip was supposed to end on June 14th. The management of Zvezda managed to get through to the correspondent's mobile phone, from a conversation with him it became clear that there were unknown people nearby who spoke Ukrainian.

IN UKRAINE, THE FIGHTERS OF THE AIRBORNE DIVISION EN MASSE RESIGNED FROM SERVICE BECAUSE OF THEIR UNWILLINGNESS TO FIGHT

About 400 servicemen of the separate 25th Dnepropetrovsk division of highly mobile airborne troops of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces (VDV) of Ukraine have filed reports of dismissal over the past three days.

This was  reported to ITAR-TASS by a source  in the specified military unit.

“About 400 fighters filed a report, and the same number refused to go to the zone of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine,” the agency’s interlocutor said. According to him, we are talking about the division, which is based in the Novomoskovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Last week, there were also reports of clashes between Ukrainian paratroopers from Lvov and Dnepropetrovsk that took place near the Lugansk airport.
