IN UKRAINE, THE FIGHTERS OF THE AIRBORNE DIVISION EN MASSE RESIGNED FROM SERVICE BECAUSE OF THEIR UNWILLINGNESS TO FIGHT
About 400 servicemen of the separate 25th Dnepropetrovsk division of highly mobile airborne troops of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces (VDV) of Ukraine have filed reports of dismissal over the past three days.
This was reported to ITAR-TASS by a source in the specified military unit.
“About 400 fighters filed a report, and the same number refused to go to the zone of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine,” the agency’s interlocutor said. According to him, we are talking about the division, which is based in the Novomoskovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Last week, there were also reports of clashes between Ukrainian paratroopers from Lvov and Dnepropetrovsk that took place near the Lugansk airport.
