The Crimean “Berkut” will retain its name as part of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
This was announced on Monday by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev at a meeting with the personnel of the unit in Simferopol. The minister noted that Berkut proved to be a functional team, proving a high level of training and morale in difficult conditions.
