RUSSIA AND CRIMEA SIGNED AN AGREEMENT IN THE GEORGIEVSKY HALL OF THE KREMLIN ON THE ENTRY OF THE REPUBLIC INTO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
The document was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Sergei Aksenov and the head of Sevastopol Alexei Chaly. The Republic of Crimea is considered accepted into the Russian Federation from the date of signing the agreement. As part of the Russian Federation, new subjects are formed – the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol.
THE UKRAINIAN MILITARY FILE A REPORT ON THE TERMINATION OF CONTRACTS.
Prime Minister, Supreme Commander of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov ordered servicemen of the military units of the armed forces of Ukraine on the territory of the peninsula, who do not want to serve in the Crimean army, to file a report on the termination of contracts. The rest are ordered to enter the service of the armed forces of the republic. The order was signed by Aksyonov in connection with the declaration of independence of the Crimea.
PROVOCATION
In Simferopol, a Crimean self-defense fighter and a Ukrainian soldier were killed by sniper shots . Two more – a self-defense fighter and a Ukrainian military man – were injured.
