Protesters in balaclavas and with machine guns entered the building of the Donetsk City Council. Supporters of a referendum on the rights of Donbass hoisted flags of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on local government buildings in Novoazovsk and Krasnoarmeysk .
DONETSK UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE PEOPLE
The protesters continue to control administrative buildings in eight cities of the Donetsk region. The city councils of Zhdanovka and Makiivka, the mayor’s office of Mariupol, the city council in Kramatorsk, the executive committee in Khartsyzsk, the police department in Gorlovka, the city council and the police in Yenakiyevo remain under their control.
