In the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military took hostage residents of the village of Kutuzovka. People were required to provide fuel for military equipment. At the same time, they were stripped to their underwear, beaten and subjected to bullying. Everything that happened was filmed on mobile phone cameras. People were released in exchange for diesel fuel (a liter per person), until the police finally intervened. According to the victims, part of the “Ukrainian” military did not understand either Russian or Ukrainian and spoke only English.
