PARTICIPANTS OF THE RALLY IN LUGANSK DEMAND THAT KYIV STOP THE SPECIAL OPERATION IN EASTERN UKRAINE
A rally demanding an end to hostilities in eastern Ukraine is taking place on Thursday in the center of Luhansk. According to corr. ITAR-TASS from the scene, more than a hundred participants in the action are in favor of stopping the “execution of civilians in the villages captured by the National Guard” on the territory of the proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). The protesters say they want to “turn to the leadership of Russia and the UN for protection,” they call on the men of the city to stand up more actively in defense of the LPR. The demonstration is peaceful, there were no clashes with law enforcement officers.
