NATIONAL THE GUARD SHOT PEOPLE AND SEIZED SEVERAL POLLING STATIONS
On the day of the referendum on the status of the Donetsk region, militants of the Dnepr battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine entered Krasnoarmeysk. They fired indiscriminately at the locals. As a result, two people were killed. Punishers broke into Krasnoarmeysk on the armored cars of PrivatBank, owned by Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky.

During a punitive operation, Ukrainian security forces seized the premises of four schools in Krasnoarmeysk, where polling stations were located for voting on the status of the Donetsk region. The building of the city executive committee of Krasnoarmeysk was seized and blocked by radicals.
KRASNOARMEYSK HAS MADE ITS CHOICE
Krasnoarmeisk became the first city in the Donetsk region, where the voting in the referendum was completed and the polling stations were closed. The reason for the closure was the threat to the lives of voters and employees of election commissions from the so-called national guard. The turnout at the polling stations was 77.08%.
