The mayor of the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, Gennady Kostyukov, has decided to resign early, Ukrainian media reported.
Kostyukov, 67, has served as mayor since 2006. He is a member of the Party of Regions.
According to local media, the city council of Kramatorsk will hold a meeting on May 23 to consider the mayor’s petition. The reasons for his decision are not reported.
