REPORTS OF DEAD AND WOUNDED
The press service of the Donetsk Regional State Administration announced that seven minors from 4 to 17 years old were injured in the region as a result of hostilities over the past 20 days. On May 9, a 12-year-old child received a gunshot wound to the abdomen and shoulder while walking, on May 26, a 13-year-old girl received a shrapnel wound to her leg, and on May 28, a four-year-old child suffered a shrapnel wound to the soft tissues of the left forearm while walking with her grandmother. Four more children and teenagers suffered from gunshot wounds in other cities of the region. So, in Makiivka on May 17, a seven-year-old child was wounded in the leg at a bus stop. In Gorlovka on May 24, a 17-year-old girl received a bullet wound to the chest. On May 25, a 15-year-old resident of the village of Marinovka, Shakhtyorsky district, was driving a car that was shot at a checkpoint in the town of Snezhnoye. The child was taken to the regional children’s clinical hospital with a penetrating wound to the abdominal cavity.
