Five settlements of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, located along the road from Donetsk to Lugansk, raised the flags of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic” at once: Shakhtersk (a regional center with a population of 58 thousand people), Torez (80 thousand), Snezhny (60 thousand), and also in villages – Gornoye and Krasny Luch (Miner’s district).

MASSACRE IN DONETSK: AT LEAST 12 INJURED

Mass brawl involving football fans took place in the south-east of Ukraine – this time in Donetsk. The ultras attacked the participants of the anti-fascist procession, who opposed the honoring of the SS men from the Galicia division. Injuries, according to preliminary data, received 12 people. The anti-fascist procession in Donetsk was directed against the actions timed to coincide with the founding of the SS division “Galicia”, organized by radicals in different regions of the country. Several thousand people took to the central streets of the city, blocking the movement of vehicles. The procession participants chanted the slogans “Fascism is not passed!”, “No to fascism”, “Russia, Russia!”. People sang patriotic songs in Russian.
