In the morning, Ukrainian security forces carried out a massive shelling of Slovyansk in the Donetsk region. After artillery shelling of the city of Slavyansk in the Donetsk region, launched by Ukrainian security forces in the early morning, residential buildings on the streets of Dimitrov and Order bearers were partially destroyed. Also, residential buildings in the village of Semenovka were partially destroyed. On May 19, Ukrainian security forces fired mortars at Kramatorsk.
