ULTIMATUM OF THE UKRAINIAN MILITARY
Ukrainian servicemen stationed at checkpoints near the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Donetsk region) delivered an ultimatum to the leadership – if within three days the salary is not paid, they will block traffic. The military complain that the command “left them to their fate.”
“They don’t feed us, they don’t bring water; there is nothing to cook canned food and cereals in, according to the charter it is not allowed to leave the location, ”they say. According to them, “out of the promised 2,700 hryvnias (about 8,000 rubles), only 600 (1,750 rubles) were paid” in a month and a half. In addition, they said that they were not even allowed to hunt – they would be punished for using live ammunition. “Local residents bring us food and water,” says one of the servicemen.
