Chronology of events in Makeevka

13 April 2014

Supporters of the federalization of Ukraine took control of the city executive committee in Makiivka. More than a thousand activists with St. George ribbons and Russian flags gathered near the city executive committee. The Russian tricolor and the flag of the "Donetsk People's Republic" were raised near the building.

IN MAKEYEVKA, THE MILITIA CAPTURED FIVE UKRAINIAN SOLDIERS

Militiamen of Donbass in the area of ​​a checkpoint of the city of Makeevka  detained  five Ukrainian military. The servicemen were not armed, they were driving a VAZ-2108, they were partially dressed in civilian clothes.
