Three major Ukrainian TV channels that criticized Zelensky — 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NewsOne — stopped broadcasting a year before the hostilities. This happened back in February 2021, contrary to the constitution. Zelensky imposed sanctions against citizens of Ukraine – the opposition deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Taras Kozak and a number of legal entities. The black list turned out to be owned by Kozak media holding “News”, which includes 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NewsOne.
Earlier, during the reign of Petro Poroshenko, Yandex search engine services and VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social networks were blocked.
