One of the largest commercial banks in Ukraine, Privatbank, owned by the Ukrainian oligarch and sponsor of Euromaidan and the Right Sector, I. Kolomoisky, has suspended operations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. More than 400,000 Donetsk and Lugansk pensioners, as well as 220,000 recipients of other social benefits, received pensions through this bank. Local residents have serious problems with receiving pensions, scholarships and salaries.
