At a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation, a decree was signed on measures to rehabilitate the peoples of Crimea.
Today, at a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation and the Council for National Projects and Demographic Policy, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the signing of a Decree on measures to rehabilitate the Armenian, Bulgarian, Greek, Crimean Tatar and German peoples and state support for their revival and development.

“I have signed a Decree on the rehabilitation of the Crimean Tatar population of Crimea, the Armenian population, Germans, Greeks – all those who suffered during the Stalinist repressions,” Vladimir Putin said. – Also, this Decree spells out measures for the socio-economic development of some territories, which in recent years, one might say decades, have been practically abandoned and have not been legally formalized in any way and have not developed at all socially, but only degraded. We will discuss this with our colleagues in more detail.”
